Taly’s Mobile Notary Services (“TMNS”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of the personal information of our clients. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you interact with our notary services, whether in person, online, or via mobile communication.
WHEN WE COLLECT INFORMATION
We may collect personal information that you provide when you:

- Information shared when interacting with our chatbot, signing up for newsletters, or participating in events.
- Payment and billing details (Note: We do not store full credit card data after processing one-time transactions).
Information we collect automatically:
- Technical usage data including your IP address, device type, browser type, referring URLs, and interactions with our website;
- Information gathered using cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to improve your user experience and personalize content.
Information from third parties:
We may receive information from trusted partners such as identity verification vendors, marketing platforms, or public databases to support our services. These third parties have their own privacy practices that are not governed by this policy.
Children’s Privacy:
Taly’s Mobile Notary Services does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 16, please contact us at talysmobilenotaryservices@gmail.com, and we will promptly delete it.

Notary-Specific Disclosures:
Mobile and Remote Notaries working with Taly’s Mobile Notary Services may maintain independent Notary Journals in compliance with state law. These records may include personal information. If a legal request is made to delete personal data, we will comply to the extent permitted by law, excluding records retained independently by notaries. Notarial session recordings may be retained for up to ten (10) years as required.
YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES

- Request deletion of your information (subject to applicable legal requirements);
- Opt out of marketing emails by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any promotional message;

We protect information we collect about you by maintaining physical, electronic and procedural safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized access to user data retained in our servers, however, due to the inherent open nature of the Internet, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information provided online. We take reasonable precautions to protect your information both online and offline. The servers on which we store data are kept in a secure environment.
RETENTION
We will retain your information for as long as your account or inquiry is active or as needed to provide you with the website or any requested services, and for a reasonable time thereafter in accordance with our standard procedures or as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Please note that we will not be liable for disclosures of your data due to errors or unauthorized acts of third parties, including identity verification providers, Notaries, or enterprises in receipt of notarized information.
Finally, we may retain aggregated or anonymous data indefinitely.

The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act or “CPRA” (collectively, the “CCPA”),the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (“VCDPA”), Colorado Privacy Act (“CPA”), the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (“CTDPA”), Utah Consumer Privacy Act (“UCPA”), and the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act (“OCPA”) create additional privacy obligations for businesses and provide their residents with additional privacy rights.

- Limit the use of my ‘Sensitive’ Personal Information. During the course of an online notary session, the TMNS may require you to upload identity verification or other documentation that contains ‘Sensitive Personal Information’ as defined by certain state privacy laws. As noted above, this information is processed by selected vendors or Notaries, and is not stored in the TMNS website. As a result, any potential ‘limitation’ or opt-out associated with this information must be directed to the vendors themselves.

Our Services may contain links to other websites or services. We do not exercise control over the information you provide, or is collected by these third party websites. We encourage you to read the privacy policies or statements of the other websites you visit.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Privacy Policy on this page with a “Last Updated” effective date of the revisions.
